With Spring Invite 2020 reaching a whopping total of 16 teams (including 9 highly competitive teams coming in from Open Fall 2019), this season is certainly going to be a barnburner! Congratulations to all teams who've qualified for the CEA Invite League Spring 2020 season! There are 4 divisions with 4 teams in each division. Multiple teams from the same school can participate in this league.

Schedule and Format

Participating schools will be seeded into one of the 4 divisions based on the location of the school. Each team will play every other team in their division twice and play 2 teams outside their divisions once. As with Open League, group-stage matches follow a best of 2 format. Teams earn 3 points for two maps won, 2 points for a map win and a map draw and 1 point for a tied series (two map draws or a map win and a map loss). Round differentials are kept to break ties. The default match times are every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00pm EST each week. However, teams are free to reschedule their matches as long as matches are reported by the first Sunday after the play week at 1:00pm ET. At the end of the group-stage phase, top 2 in each division will move onto Playoffs.

Eligibility and Registration

In order to compete all players must be: • Enrolled full time (or equivalent) at an accredited higher learning institution in North America. Players who are graduating after that semester may be enrolled part time (or equivalent) and still be eligible to play. • At least 17 years old by the start of the competition. • In possession of a Uplay account that is in good standing and owns a copy of Rainbow Six: Siege. This same account must be used for the duration of the competition, and is expected to have 2FA enabled. Teams can only qualify through Open League to play in Invite League the following semester.
